The Flaming Lips are on a quest to set the world record for playing the most concerts in one day, and one of them will be happening at The Handy Park Pavillion at 3:30pm on June 27. Rock for Love
Of course I’m going to write something about Rock for Love. If it wasn’t for last year’s events I wouldn’t have even started this blog. That being said, this year some of the events will be stepping out of the Hi-tone and into Overton Square and the Levitt Shell. Oh…and this guy is headlining….
That’s right….Booker T. Jones is headlining Rock for Love this year!
More exciting things to come…There might even be an official Memphis Rock City show in the works…..
I hear the Lips show may only be 20 minutes… have you heard anything?
