After a full day of recovery from this year’s Cooper Young Fest, I’m back up, running, and ready to post. Here are some photos of Glorie from the main stage.
It’s hard to believe that it has been more than two years since Jim Dickinson passed away. Tonight at the Levitt Shell in Overton Park is the Jim Dickinson Folk Festival. North Mississippi All Stars, Lucero, Mojo Nixon, Sons of Mudboy, Jimbo Mathis and the Tri-State Coalition, and Shannon McNally will all be performing. This show kicks off at 6:30, is free, and completely family friendly.
While most of you probably don’t need a reminder about this, Gonerfest kicks off this Thursday at the Gazebo on the corner of Cooper and Young with Jack Oblivian and Limes.
